October’s Monthly Reading: Avoid a Nightmare Month!

Happy October, Gorgeous Angels!

This is my favorite, favorite month…not only because it’s my birthday month ;-), but because it’s also leading up to the best holidays season! Bring on Fall + Winter clothes, pumpkin spice + gingerbread lattes, and just utter coziness!

For this month’s reading, I was feeling very called to include Colette Baron-Reid’s The Enchanted Map oracle cards along with our beloved Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. The Enchanted Map complements other decks fantastically, as it delves into our internal world, and highlights what is going on within before it manifests to our external world.

Some may find this month quite turbulent, but you can ride this wave with ease, Lovely!

Does Your Compass Point You to Your Wealth???

photo 2  photo 1

October Starts: Four of Earth + Compass

As we look at the Four of Earth, the card represents a feeling of stability or perhaps a desire of stability. The fairy in the image (representative of those of us receiving this reading) has a very wary, cautious look about her and gives the feeling of tightly holding on to the material goods or money that she has in her possession.

Also noted is that you could be spending too frivolously. Is that you? Is it time to buckle down and start saving that money to pay for your living essentials (i.e. roof over head, food in stomach)? Or perhaps you might be feeling it’s time to share your wealth with the charity of your choice.

This card can also represent business decisions. If you’re in the middle of negotiating a business partnership, a new job, or a new offering for your own business, rest assure that all is within your favor! These decisions will be good ones. :)

Which leads us to Compass… Following your own inner-compass to what feels right and good will keep you on the right path.

Go within and check in with what you’re feeling in your body. Does it feel good to release your hold over money a little? To give some of it away or invest in yourself?

Or if you’re on the opposite end of the spectrum…does it feel good to save that money and watch it grow in the bank or in your wallet?

What feels best for your Wealth and Health?!?

And in business, what feels right about your new adventure and makes you breathe a sigh of relief, or puts excited butterflies in your stomach?

Trust yourself. Trust your inner compass.

Mid-October: Three of Air + Education

Just as you’re trusting your inner compass and feeling great about your money and/or business, mid-October may bring in some anxiety and sadness.

Making the decision to change your life for the better, connecting to your inner wisdom — your True North — will cause shifts within and your ego not wanting to let go of your old ways.

Take the time to heal those inner wounds. Ask that inner soul (who I also refer to as your inner child or your ego) what she needs. What is it that she fears about moving on?

Take the time to listen to her and comfort her with words as you would when talking to a young child or a close friend. Show her lots of love and reassure her that everything will be all right.

Also connected to inner healing is the need to forgive. If your inner child is fearing a repeat of a past mistake or humiliation, revisit that situation and forgive yourself and all those involved in the situation. Keep forgiving and sending love until you feel that fearful energy — that tightness and racing pulse — released from your body.

The Education card could come into play by being educated by your past-self when revisiting the old situations mentioned above; Or you may find situations happen in mid-October that will be valuable lessons as you go along your path. Or perhaps it is quite literally getting into a course of study to help you along your money or business adventures!

Whatever the case may be, take it all in with great appreciation.

October End: The World (Archangel Michael) + Listening

At the end of October, The World card signifies that all will come together. All the elements — water, air, fire, and earth are in balance and support you. Combined with the Listening card, what seems to be coming through is that you will be achieving — or calling into your life the need to be still and listen to the stillness within your soul.

Mercury in Retrograde will also be returning between October 21st to November 10th, so what perfect time to slow down and just be still?

Not long ago, I wrote about the importance of meditation and how to quiet the mind. If you take that a step further to sit in stillness and soak in the quietness between the noises you here in your environment, you can find a peace within yourself and an easy connection to your soul, The Universe, and everything around you.

In that, that balance you may be looking for in your life can be achieved, and as The World card states: you’ll be on the path toward enlightenment.

Thank you so much for the reading! Love how you interpret the cards :) October is my favorite month too – there is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with a blanket, a good book and a hot cup of tea while squash bakes in the oven.
    Cheers,
    Kate
